Why We Chose Croatia for Sailing in May

Illustration

Croatia offers some of the cleanest seas in Europe and truly modern sailing infrastructure — well-equipped marinas, reliable service, and comfort at every stage of the journey.

Spring is also the best time to experience Croatia at its most authentic:
everything is in bloom, the heat has not yet arrived, and the crowds are still away — making the journey feel light, calm, and visually stunning.

Daytime air temperatures average around +25°C, with sea temperatures of about +20°C.

May yacht weeks are always the most atmospheric.
After a long winter, we naturally crave warmth and sunlight — and this journey becomes a perfect blend of spring freshness and early summer energy.

For Croatia, it’s simply the best time to sail.

Over the years of our journeys, we’ve asked people many times what mattered most to them. The answer has almost always been the same.

Not the format. Not the service. Not even the route.

But the people — and the moments
created between us.

It’s in this kind of atmosphere that real conversations begin, unexpected connections happen, and you feel that the people around you are truly “
your people.”

On this journey, we once again create a space where it’s easy to be yourself, to connect, and to experience something real — together.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No — you don’t need any sailing experience.
Professional skippers handle the catamarans, and the whole journey is designed for you to simply unwind and enjoy every moment..

  • It’s a seven-day catamaran journey between the islands of the Adriatic.
A thoughtfully designed route, an organized program, and a well-balanced rhythm — with plenty of sea time, the most beautiful views from the water, space for yourself, and real moments together.

There is movement and pauses, impressions and recovery, shared events and time to be on your own.
A format that lets you recharge — and truly live a full week at sea.

  • Groceries are purchased at the beginning of the journey. We’ll help with a basic shopping list and the logistics.
We have a hostess/cook on each board who takes care of cooking, serving, and keeping the shared areas tidy.
On the islands, we also visit local cafés and restaurants.

  • In our experience — very rarely.
The route is built around short passages, and our skippers always choose anchorages protected from the wind. Our catamarans are large and very stable on the water.
And if needed, we have everything on board to address seasickness quickly.

  • No.
Sailing passages typically last 3–5 hours — enough to feel the sea, without getting tired.
There’s always time for swimming, going ashore, and other activities.

  • No.
This journey is designed as a complete week of life at sea. That’s what creates the atmosphere, the people, and the moments this experience is built for.

  • Alcohol isn’t prohibited — there are no restrictions.
At the same time, this isn’t an alcohol-centered format. People here value a good state, clarity, energy, real connection — and mornings without a hangover :)

  • Yes — with no limits.
All catamarans are equipped with watermakers — desalination systems — so there is plenty of hot water available throughout the entire week.
